A few weekends ago I traveled off to my home state of Illinois to shoot a wedding. I met Emily and Corey a few months ago, those of you that follow my blog should remember my first shoot working with a cow as a model...; As I'm working on their wedding album now it brings me back to all the fun things that happened on their wedding day..; First off, being out of element, in Illinois did put a creative spin on things...; I was forced to work on quickly in areas I wasn't familiar with. It actually made the day pretty exciting...; We did go back to the farm with the amazing round barn...; So, I was already full of ideas once we arrived there...; The day began around 11 am...; Emily was getting dressed at the church, Corey was filling up the cooler with beer and everyone else around was getting the details set for the day...; Once all the girls were ready we headed off to Miller Park for some fun bridal part images. After all that madness, we were back at the church getting ready for the ceremony...; Guests started arriving, Emily was hiding and there was a fun feeling of excitement in the air of the sanctuary...; After the service we headed out to the farm. The round barn was sparkling, the sun was shining, the bulls were mooing (is that what bulls do?) and the wedding party was having fun! I am in love with some of the images we created out there. I can’t wait to show the bride and groom so I can post some on here! They were all about each other… just as any couple should be on their wedding day ;) We didn’t get the cows out this time… but still made some great images! Once our time started running out we drove back to the church for the wedding reception. One of my favorite details of the reception was the cutest sock monkey bride and groom Emily’s mom made as a surprise for them. Complete with replica ring, garter, tux and beer coozy. After all the wedding reception traditions everybody just headed out on the dance floor for some good ol fashion dancing fun. Emily and Corey you two were a blast to hang out with all day! I know you’re going to have a fun, carefree life together!
