About our Studio:
Our high fashion studio is a newly renovated historic building located in downtown Muncie. We have over 2,500 square feet that we have transformed into the most perfect setting for the best photography experience.We have a shooting room downstairs with various backgrounds, a chic dressing room complete with vanity, curling iron, the most awesome (skinny) mirror, and fainting couch (just in case it’s all so fabulous you need to catch your breath!).

Upstairs we have a large open space that we left with all of the original design intact. The natural light is gorgeous for lighting our models, the exposed brick is a perfect backdrop, and the hardwood floors are ideal! We have added tons of different props, couches, and chandeliers and are always changing our styles and backgrounds. We dream up new ideas every day for sets to build to make sure we always have something exclusive to offer our clients (so your photos don’t end up looking just like anyone we photograph from last season!).

The Photographer:
One of Muncie’s premiere photographers, owner/photographer Amanda Kishel is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). Her fine arts education brings an artistic eye to the images that are created. Her elegant lighting techniques help create photographs that show life and emotion as they really are. These techniques combined with others allow her to create artistic portraits that are as unique as your personality.

Our Studio Manager:
You’ll see Erynne in pretty much every capacity at Kishel Photography. She helps with scheduling, marketing, planning events, keeps the studio going and you’ll probably even see her taking pictures! She loves getting to know all of our clients and loves to come up with creative new ideas for our ongoing projects.

Administrative Assistant:
Sarah is our heaven sent office angel! Since that’s not an official title, we’ll call her our administrative assistant. Sarah’s become our jack of all trades over the years around the office doing anything we need from scheduling, to helping with photo shoots to packaging etc etc. You may not see her around the studio as much during the week since she lives in Indianapolis now, but technology makes it possible to have Sarah be with us remotely! We love her so much, we make sure she’s a part of all of the big events we do! You’ll still see her keeping us organized at weddings, and running around with us at all of our events throughout the year and you may even catch her in the studio at a weekend photoshoot.
