Bad Tan Lines/Sunburn – If you have not been tanning recently, don’t tan just before your session. You can get sunburn or really bad tan lines, which are not flattering in photos. Also avoid spray tans right before your session, especially if you are not familiar with how the formula takes to your skin. Most won’t develop until a good 24 hours after anyway.
Getting drunk at your session – If you are nervous about your session, it’s OK to have a glass of wine to rest your nerves. We provide a single serving usually if you’d like to unwind a bit, and you’re welcome to bring your own! But that said, don’t get wasted before or during your session. This is one of the worst things you can do. Your eyes will be bloodshot and droopy and it’s just a recipe for disaster.
Choosing the wrong sized outfits – Choose lingerie that is just the right size for you. You don’t want loose lingerie that gives your body no shape or hides your beautiful curves. On the other hand, lingerie that is too tight can be extremely unflattering.
Heavy Makeup – This is an area you don’t typically have to worry about unless you prefer to do your own hair and makeup since it’s included in your boudoir package. If you decide to apply your own makeup, you don’t want to slather it on too thickly. It’s more about accentuating your natural features and making you feel – and look – stunning. You also don’t want to go completely makeup free either. You can opt for minimal makeup but you do want to focus on contouring your facial structure.
Forgetting to shave/wax – Always remember to shave or wax any exposed area that needs to looks smooth and sexy. Consider using a medicated anti-bump cream after shaving certain lady-parts!
